Our roots and our experitse

The Kilhorne Bay group was one of the first ever to utilise scampi tails (aka Nephrops Norvegicus, Dublin Bay Prawn, Norway Lobster or Langoustine – with this many alias they must have wanted to keep this seafood treat a secret!). Many years ago fishermen would throw Scampi overboard as a useless by-catch.

Today they are prized in all their various formats and Aqua Blue are lucky to have nearly 40 years experience working with this product.

With three production sites primarily producing SCAMPI in various presentations and styles, we can offer the customer virtually any specification required.

So if it's three way cooked Single Tail Battered, Whole Tails, Natural Crumbed, Reformed Golden Crumbed, Peeled, own label or branded, whatever your requirements, we CAN supply. Always our products will be competitively priced and... 'CONSISTENT QUALITY NO COMPROMISE.'
